First Win of the Season!!!
The girls earned their first win this season, November 2, winning 2-1 against Zorra!!!
A well matched team, an exciting game to watch!! Alia Poirier scored the 2 goals of the game. Brett Gethke played in net doing very well for her first time. Congratulations girls, keep it up!!
November 3 the girls lost a very close game to Lucan with a score of 3-4. Alia Poirier scored the 1st goal in the second period. Sadie Macarthur scored one goal in the third period with an assist from Alia and then just seconds later Alia scored the 3rd goal of the game! Brett had another successful game in net, working hard to stop several strong attempts by the Lucan team.
Lucan was another well matched team for our girls. With the speed at which our team is gaining skills and confidence, the next time we meet Lucan, we'll take the win for sure!!!
