The
U15 Scotiabank team drove up to Seaforth to play against the Mid-Huron Huskies
on Monday night.
The play
was back and forth in the first period, with 6 min left, Rogan
Catalan carried the puck out of the corner to the net for a shot and scored, Isaak Smith got the assist. The Huskies would tie up the game with 5
seconds left in the first period.
The Meteor's
fell behind at the beginning of the second period, but not for long, they capitalized
on a power play goal by Austin Judge. The score was even after two periods. It wasn’t long after the start of the third, when
Caden Diehl scored the game winning goal, assisted by Grady Smith and then
Grady would add another point to end the game 4 to 2. The boys hard work on the ice, paid off on the
scoreboard. They showed some real grit
to fight back and take the game in the third period.
