U15 Girls Edge Aces
Josie Walker scored the game winner with just under three minutes remaining in the final period as the Lockhart Funeral Home U15 Meteor Girls slipped by the visiting Stratford Aces 2-1 in WOGHL league play on December 8th.
After a scoreless first period, Stratford would open the scoring midway through the second before Grace Laverty would tie it from Jade Huygen less than a minute later. After scoreless hockey for the next 17 minutes of play, the stage was set for Walker's heroics, assisted by Brooklynn French.
