U15 Girls Claim WOGHL 'C' Title With OT Win
Ainsley Berendsen scored in overtime as the Lockhart Funeral Home U15 Meteor Girls clinched the WOGHL 'C' Championship with a 1-0 win at the Dufferin Arena in Stratford on April 2nd.
The Stratford Aces had forced a tie-breaker overtime period after beating the Meteors 3-0 in regulation, tying their series at one win each plus a tie. The locals now head to OWHA Provincials in the GTA this coming weekend with an outstanding record of 38-6-4.
Provincial action begins on Fri Apr 8th @ 130pm vs Parkhill at Brampton's Earnscliffe arena venue.
