U15 Girls Roll In Thamesford, Keep League Undefeated Streak Alive
The Lockhart Funeral Home U15 Meteor Girls travelled to Thamesford on Nov 24th to face the West Oxford Inferno, returning home with a solid 7-2 win to run their WOGHL undefeated streak to 10 games.
Brooklynn French had the hot stick for the Meteors, recording 5 points in total with a hat trick and two assists. The locals roared out to a commanding 4-0 lead after one, with Josie Walker and French scoring singles and Teagan Hickling adding a pair. Haileigh Templeman and French with her second of the night would increase the lead to 6-0 before West Oxford would score on a breakaway with 0:01 left in the second period.
The teams would trade third period goals, with French completing the hat trick to round out the scoring. Additional assists were recorded by Templeman, Walker, Rachel Haefling, Ainsley Berendsen, and Brooklyn Boville with a pair.
