Peewees Rebound From Opening WOAA Series Loss With Two Wins
After dropping game one of their WOAA round robin playoff series to Goderich, the Hoegy's Farm Supply Meteor Peewee Reps rebounded with two wins in a row.

In Mitchell on Feb 5th, the Meteors hosted Goderich in the back half of the home and home, looking to avenge the 7-4 loss from the previous week.  A well-balanced attack was on display in a 5-1 victory, as Bryce Dixon (2G), Jacob Dietrich (2A), Jack Miller (2A) and Nick Wagner (1G 1A) each had two points.  Additional goals were scored by Ethan Jarmuth, and Brayden Hoegy into an empty net with 3 seconds remaining.  Charlie Geiger also recorded an assist.
The Meteors then hit the road again on Feb 7th to Lucknow to face the Huron-Bruce Blizzard, returning home with a solid 5-2 win.  Mitchell quickly found themselves down 1-0 again early in the game, but battled back to tie and take the lead on back-to-back unassisted goals by Dietrich and Hoegy.  The second period was all Meteors, as Lucas Mahon scored from Dietrich, and Kellen Russwurm set up Jarmuth for a power play goal to take a 4-1 lead.  The red-hot Dietrich added his second of the game early in the final period, assisted by Hoegy and Jack Van Loon.  The Blizzard would add a late goal with less than a minute remaining in the game to round out the scoring.
