Peewee Reps Tie, Win To Force Elimination Game
The Hoegy's Farm Supply Meteor Peewee Reps remained in contention in WOAA Playoffs with a 3-3 road tie and 5-4 home win over BCH, forcing a one-game playoff vs the Huron-Bruce Blizzard on March 13th at 8pm in Mitchell.  The winner will face West Grey in the Lockridge division championship final.

In Clinton on March 9th, both teams found the net twice in the opening period, with Meteor goals scored by Ethan Jarmuth and Nick Wagner.  After a scoreless second period, BCH took the lead early in the third, but Jarmuth's second goal of the game on the powerplay with 2:30 remaining would tie the game again.  Ten minutes of overtime did not yield a winner, ending in the 3-3 tie.
Needing a win at home on March 10th to stay alive, the locals went to work right away with first period goals from Kellen Russwurm and Wagner.  Following a BCH goal early in the second period, the Meteors erupted with three unanswered goals on a single by Carter O'Brien and another pair from Jarmuth.  Protecting a 5-1 lead going into third, things got a little tense as BCH turned up the pressure, scoring three goals in the last 6:30 of play including one shorthanded.  But the Meteor defense and goaltender Joel Meinen stood tall to hang on for the 5-4 win.
