Jarmuth Stays Hot In Win Over BCH
Forward Ethan Jarmuth continued his torrid scoring streak with a hat trick on December 17th, as the Hoegy's Farm Supply Peewee Meteor Reps defeated visiting league rival BCH Ice Dogs by a score of 5-3.

Things didn't start off so well for the Meteors, as BCH would open the scoring less than a minute into the game and hold the 1-0 lead through the remainder of the period.  The Meteors would then score three unanswered goals in the second period as Nick Wagner scored early, assisted by Hayden Nicholson and Jack Miller.  With a minute to go in the period, Jarmuth would score the first of his three in an unassisted effort.  In the dying seconds of the period Miller blocked a shot at the blue line, leading to an unassisted breakaway goal and a 3-1 lead going into the third.
Not giving up easily, BCH would score early in the third to cut the deficit to one.  The Meteors would answer back 30 seconds later on Jarmuth's second goal, assisted by Wagner and Charlie Geiger.  The teams would trade goals once more before the final buzzer, with Jarmuth getting the hat trick after jamming in a loose puck in the crease for the insurance goal.
The locals host Saugeen Shores on December 21st at 4:15pm in Monkton to close out the first half of the regular season, and will compete in the Silver Stick Regional Tournament in Kincardine over the Holidays.
