The Walkom's Valu-Mart Atom Reps were home again on Sunday, December 23 where they faced off against the BCH Ice Dogs.
BCH was the first to score when they popped one in with just under two minutes gone in the first period. The boys didn't let it get them down and battled back when Logan Verberne passed it out front from the corner to Ethan Jarmuth who fired it home. The first period was back and forth and ended in a 1-1 tie.
The second period was much the same. The boys were all over the Ice Dogs, but couldn't catch a break. The visiting team took a 3-1 lead.
Into the third period, on a power play, Jonah Gibbings took a beautiful shot from the point and snuck it past the goalie for a 3-2 hockey game. The boys were right back in the game.
BCH proved themselves to be competition for Mitchell and managed to walk away with a 6-2 win.
