Novice C Girls Remain Unbeaten
The Novice girls continued their streak with 6-2 win over the Ilderton Jets.

Less than two minutes into the game Selina Gethke grabbed the first goal from close range, assisted by Danica Voros.  The second goal came from a nice breakaway by Alise Crawford, with help from Gethke.  Ally VanBakel and Gethke would get the puck to Ellie MacArthur who drove up the left side past a few Ilderton players to net the third goal for the period.

The second period would have two more put on the board by Mitchell. The first just over a minute in from Kayla Visneskie who drove hard to the net with passes coming from Ally VanBakel and Amelia Wolfkamp.  The other coming off a beauty pass out front from Visneskie to Crawford, who confidently found the back of the net. The girls were also able to fend off Ilderton while being shorthanded for the last two minutes of the period.

Visneskie would record the sixth and final goal for the girls with just over six minutes to go in the final frame.  Ilderton did not give up and were able to answer back with a couple goals past the ready and eager netminder, Martyna Hartwig. Great teamwork heading into the Girls tournament this coming weekend.
