A Dominating Matinee
The Mitchell Dodge Caravan Kids Novice LL1 team travelled to Wingham Saturday and outperformed the Ironmen.

Goals were not an issue on Saturday afternoon as the laser focused Meteors got off to a lightning start, what followed was a melee of goals and saw most the team on the score sheet in one way or another. Hudson Porter got things started a minute and a half into the game, after winning a face off in Mitchell's end, carrying the puck the length of the ice and ripping a glove side bullet passed the Wingham Ironmen goalie. Porter would continue the offense scoring the team's first 3 goals and later adding an assist in the 3rd.

The Meteors defense was again firing on all cylinders working together as a unit to keep the puck out of Mitchell's end. Reegan Vessie and Luke Krempien each blocked 2 key shots in the 2nd period to fire up the team and keep the crowd energized, great job again defense! Goalie Carter Harris celebrated his first shut-out of the season, pulling down his GAA to personal best 1.6!

The game ended with a score of 10 - 0 and saw other Meteor goals from Ray Wolfe, Jack Crowley, Tyler Burtenshaw and Nolan Rolph. The assist column was filled with the likes of Dylan Dietrich, Bryson Eickmeyer, Brayden Baxter, Connor Wolfe, Lucas Bree and Quiade Hoskin. Great job fellas and good look at home next week against Central Perth!
