Dodge Caravan Tournament
The Mitchell Dodge Caravan Novice LL 1 team took part in the Dodge Caravan tournament hosted in Brantford on Family Day.

The Meteors played a marathon 4 games on family day at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre. Their day started at 9:15am against the Sarnia White Lightning. Mitchell got off to a quick start and kept up the fast pace downing the lightning 6 to 3, goals came from Hudson Porter(2), Ray Wolfe(2), Jack Crowley and Nolan Rolph. Assisted by Wolfe(2), Lucas Bree(2), Crowley, Conner Wolfe and Porter.

Game 2's opponent at 11:15 was the Glanbrook Rangers. These teams were evenly matched but in the end Glanbrook edged the Meteors 2 to 1. The lone goal came from Ray Wolfe assisted by Hudson Porter. A shout out to the defence in this game as Luke Krempien, Reegan Vessie, Lucas Bree and Tyler Burtenshaw were kept quite busy from the strong Rangers' forward play. Goalie Carter Harris made a game high 27 saves doing everything he could to keep Mitchell in the game.

Game 3 saw Mitchell vs the Dundas Leafs at 2:15. Mitchell rebounded from the prior game's loss outscoring the Leafs 6 to 3. Goals from Porter(3), Connor Wolfe and Ray Wolfe(2). Assists came from Quaide Hoskins, Brayden Baxter(2), Bryson Eickmeyer(2), Reegan Vessie and Dylan Dietrich.

The Meteors final game was against the Hespler Shamrocks. Mitchell came out with the same vigor as the previous game and finished the day off with a 6 to 2 victory. The boys played with great teamwork, the forwards stuck to the game plan always looking for their teammates in front of the net for a quick one timer. This plan succeeded on a number of occasions during this high scoring game. Goals came from Ray Wolfe(3), Hudson Porter(2) and Jack Crowley. Assists from Reegan Vessie, Porter(2), Dietrich(2), Tyler Burtenshaw and Bryson Eichmeyer. It was a great way to end the day as all the boys were having fun and playing hard.
