Quarter finals!! Against Smith Falls Cubs...Wow what an exciting game!
Jade Huygen started us off with a goal 2 mins in with an assist from Josie Walker. Unfortunately they tied it up with 15 secs left in the first.
Second period starts and right off the face off Kara Rolph passed back to the point to Heather Oglivie straight across the ice to Jessie Horan and with a really hard shot right in from the blue line!!
We had a 2-1 lead going into the third!
Again they tied it up two mins into the third. A tie game! It was tense for the parents in the stands! We had many shots on net and they had some too. Kora Smith was solid between the pipes.
Overtime!! 56 seconds in Heather Oglivie held the line stopping the puck from leaving the zone took a hard shot towards the net and it found the back of it!! Game puck went to Heather!!
Congratulations girls a well deserved win!!
