Second Game
The second game of Provincials we battled a previous opponent...Branford Ice Cats. They were the team we defeated at the Gretzky tournament back in February in a shoot out to win gold..our record against them was a 5-2 win and a 2-1 win!

They tied it up half way through the first.
They had a penalty but we couldn’t get one in. Josephine Jarmuth scored with a hard shot to the net right after them to give us back the lead. Assisted by Jessie Horan.
We had a penalty and killed it well!
Josephine skated hard and fast to saved it right at the blue line took a shot at net and Josie was right there for the rebound and controlled the puck for an empty right handed side of the net.
To make it 3-1 is at the end of the first, it was a very exciting first period.
Another power play opportunity for us.
They scored early in the third to make it 3-2 than they gave us a power play but we couldn't get one in.
Time out...
...And they scored with just 2 mins left to tie the game and it ended that way. The girls are still undefeated in their first day of Provincials!
