Game Three
Saturday morning started bright and early with an 8:15 am game against a new opponent Toronto Leaside Wildcats.
Josie Walker started the score board again two mins in.
We had a penalty and controlled the puck in their zone the whole time. Shortly after that Danielle Harmer took a shot and Ashley McLeod was ready for rebound popped it up backhand and in it went over the goalie’s pad and found the back of the net. With a scrabble in front of the net Josie Walker passed to Kara Rolph and she got it in.
3-0 end of first
Starting the second on a power play, we couldn't get one in. As soon as it was over though Danielle Harmer...with someone right on her heels controlled the puck and right in the five hole it went. Heather Oglivie took a hard shot from the blueline and it went through lots of players feet and found the net!!
Time out called by Toronto for the goalie to regroup.
End of second 5-0!
They scored right off the face off in the third.
Our coach called time out with 7 mins left to give our girls a bit of a rest and a pep talk!
Scramble in from of the net with two mins left and Josephine Jarmuth was given credited for the goal to make it a 6-1 final!
It was a whole team effort today for this victory! Keep up the good teamwork girls!
