On November 11, the lady Meteors headed to Sarnia to take on the Jr. Lady Sting.
Kora Smith was solid as a goaltenders' dual ensued, with a twin shutout being the final result.
The weekend prior saw the Meteors face a strong Lakeshore Lightning squad twice as the visitors stole two close games from the Meteors.
On Nov 4, the girls lost 5-3 in a game that was tighter than the score proclaimed, as Lakeshore scored an empty netter which froze the local comeback attempt with 20 seconds remaining on the clock. Josephine Jarmuth scored Mitchell's first goal with assists going to Jade Huygen and Josie Walker. Ashley McLeod notched the next one unassisted, and Brooklyn Boville tucked the last one in off a pass from Kara Rolph.
The next day, Lakeshore took the game by a score of 3-2. Boville and McLeod were Mitchell's scorers, with Danielle Harmer registering a pair of assists and Rolph adding a single.
