Exciting Weekend!
There was no shortage of exciting moments for the Meteor fans this weekend as the Auto Wholesaling Novice Rep team defeated the West Grey Warriors 9-1 on Saturday and the Central Perth Rep team 5-1 on Sunday.
Each forward demonstrated their skill as they racked up the shots on net throughout each game. To the dismay of the West Grey Warriors, Owen Jarmuth wowed the fans with a sombrero sized hat trick during the first game. Other goal-scorers over the weekend included Carson Lubbers, Carson Brown, Hudson Porter, Austin Judge and Landon VanBakel. Many other players including Colby Faust, Blake Otter, Jake Richardson, Owen Beuermann, Isaak Smith, and Nate Uniac strategically set up goal-scoring opportunities by providing essential assists. Special mention goes to Owen Beuermann who consitently read the game so well as he made several passes to set up his fellow teammates giving them effective goal-scoring chances. That type of teamwork will take this team far! That was a great set of games boys......keep it up!
