The Bantam boys rep
team hosted the Walkerton Capitals for game three of a very feisty series.
Mitchell started the scoring 7 mins into the game and didn’t
look back, trouncing Walkerton 5-0. Ryan Bell recorded the shut out with stellar play in net.
Goal scorers were Logan Harmer, Declan Catalan, Evan Morrison, Caleb Tweedle,
Kase Schoonderwoerd. Helpers went to Eric Gettler with 3, Logan Harmer, Zach
Mcphee and Evan Morrison.

The Bantam boys rep
team traveled on Saturday to Walkerton for game four of their OMHA series,
needing a tie or win to end the series. These
hard working individuals took it upon themselves to end it. Walkerton could be the hardest working team
Mitchell has encountered all year. The Meteors
fought for every inch of the ice they could handle, at 4:08 of the first Logan
Harmer tipped a point shot from Devon Fenwick passed the Walkerton goalie. That marker turned out to be the game
winner. Mitchell needs to be rewarded
for allowing cooler heads to prevail as Walkerton tried to get under the boys
skin. Mitchell has moved on to face
Hanover in the next round, details are not in please check website for updates.
