Game #3 Playoffs vrs Arthur Vipers
The McLaughlin Wholesaling Novice Rep Meteors traveled to Arthur Friday, February 24, 2017 for a 6:00pm game to try and close out the first round of the playoffs against the Vipers.  The Meteors would be successful and cruise to a 6 to 1 victory to take the first round in three straight games.

Aedan McCann would be sharp from start to finish of this game allowing only one(1) goal and a total of six(6) for the entire series versus the Vipers.  In fact in appeared the first period of this game would end without a score until Bryce Dixon would score with 1:51 left in the first; assists coming from Ryan Klumper and Jonah Gibbings.

The second period would be a strong start for the Meteors with the first marker coming from Braden Hoegy (unassisted); followed by Ryan Klumper; assists coming from Ryan Glauser and Griffin Bree, then lastly, Ethan Jarmuth would find Max Hannon open who would put in the third of the period.  The Vipers would record their only goal of the game in late in the second for a 4 to 1 game.

The third period would see more stellar defense from Cohen Arhens, Elijah Bender, Griffin Bree, Jonah Gibbings and Braden Hoegy as they would tight up and limit scoring chances.  Ryan Klumper would add two more goals with assists coming from Braden Hoegy (2), Matthew Menheere and Bryce Dixon.

The Meteors will now rest and wait for the winner of Pool B consisting of Drayton, Central Perth and Wallace.
