Game #2 Second Round Vrs Drayton Defenders
The McLaughlin Novice Rep Meteors Traveled to face Drayton Saturday, March 4, 2017 for their second game of the series. This game would once again be a carbon copy of the first match-up as the Meteors would only be down 3-0 through two periods of strong play. However, the Meteors would collapse in the third period with 6 goals against. Mitchell would add 4 of their own in the third but it wouldn't be enough as they would lose 9 to 4
Logan Verberne would find Ryan Klumper to get the first goal for Mitchell in the third period. Then not to be left off the score sheet, Ethan Jarmuth would go off for his second hat trick of the playoff's accounting for the remaining third period goals. Logan Verberne would benefit with another assist from the red hot performance of Ethan Jarmuth.
The Meteors will hope to stay alive in the series with a home game Sunday March 5th, 2017 at 4:50pm.
