Game #2 Playoffs vrs Arthur Vipers
The McLaughlin Wholesaling Novice Rep Meteors would welcome the Vipers to Mitchell on Family Day for back to back playoff action.  This game would be a tight one until blown open in the third period by a rally of goals.  Mitchell would go on to take game two 7 to 3.

The Vipers would waste little time and open the scoring in under a minute of the first period.  However, Ethan Jarmuth would continue with the hot hand to even it up with a pass from Ryan Klumper at the 7:12 mark.  The Vipers would then poor on a heavy attack and notch 2 more goals to end the opening period 3 to 1.

The second period would see the Aedan McCann settle in and the defensive efforts of Cohen Ahrens, Elijah Bender, Jonah Gibbings, Griffin Bree and Braden Hoegy tighten up to shut down the Vipers completely.  First, Braden Hoegy would score on an end to end rush (unassisted), then Ryan Klumper would tie the game up (unassisted).

Going into the third period tied the Meteors poured on the offense and Ethan Jarmuth would put away a hat trick with assists coming from Max Hannon, Logan Verberne, Braden Hoegy respectively.  Logan Verberne would notch a goal assisted by Max Hannon and Griffin Bree.  and finally, Max Hannon from Logan Verberne and Ethan Jarmuth.

The Meteors will travel to Arthur on Friday to try and close out the opening series.
