Mitchell Scotiabank Bantam AE's played the Walkerton Capitals on Saturday February 13th on home ice winning 5-3.
Following the same pattern Walkerton was first on the board early in the game. Tristan Beehler assisted by David Rowland and Trevor DeJong evened things up but before the end of the period Walkerton would send another goal past our defense. First period ends with Walkerton in the lead 2-1.
Second period things got a little intense with Walkerton opening the scoring sending one past Ryan Bell in net giving them a 3-1 lead. Curtis Eidt puts two more points on the board with Beehler taking an assist. Second period ends 3-3.
Third period Jake Monden and Jared McCarthy seal the deal with a goal each. Eidt and Beehler assisting on the Monden goal. Game ends 5-3 Mitchell.
