The Dodge Caravan Novice LL traveled to Wingham Saturday, February 27th, to face the Ironmen for the second time in round robin playoff action. After a recent defeat by BCH#1 the Meteors where hungry for a win to stay alive in the South Central Playoff hunt.
Playing the Ironmen stong in the first period neither team could manage a score and they finished play locked at no score. Then in the second period Lucas Mahon already on a two game scoring streak let another shot go from the blueline finding the back of the net to put Mitchell up 1-0. Later Cohen Ahren's stepped into his shot from the blue line also finding the back of the net. Heading into the third period Lucas Mahon managed to put two more blasts into the back of the net to finish off the hat trick and put Mitchell in a commanding 4 - 0 lead.
Bryce Otten also put on an amazing performance shutting out the Ironmen completely giving Mitchell their 2nd win of the playoffs.
