Match up between Novice LL2 and BCH2
On Sunday afternoon the Mitchell Novice LL2 boys didn't have to travel far for there match up against BCH2
Mitchell started off the game strong and 2 minutes from the first puck drop at centre ice Ryan Hubbard scored the first of the game assisted by Trevor Turk. Mitchell would continue to put on pressure with a second goal coming from Ben Medhurst assisted by Noah Mann and Lincoln Lorentz. BCH would answer back with a goal to end the first Mitchell ahead 2 to 1. Second period play would result in some hard fought battles and lose pucks but Mitchell's Ryan Hubbard and Trevor Turk would each capture goals assisted by Payton wood, Darius Ladd and Ethan Meinen to pull ahead 4 1 but the battle was not over. BCH would make a valiant effort and get 2 more goals of there own to pull within a 1 goal reach. Third period play would continue with great saves by Keegan "the wall" Meinen and hard defensive play from Ethan Dearing, Bradley Dearing and Colby Ryan to hold the line. Two more goals each from Hubbard and Medhurst would round out the scoring for Mitchell and bring the game to a final end and score of 6 3 for the Mitchell win.
