Bantam LL, U15 Boys, 2014-2015 (Mitchell Minor Hockey)

The Scotiabank Bantam LL boys had a fantastic season finishing 29-12-2.  They brought home trophies from the Clinton and Minto tournaments and they won their league playoffs allowing them to move onto the WOAA Maroon Finals against Kincardine 1. 

The Scotiabank Bantam LL team started their March Break with a tournament at the Meridian Arena in the heart of wine country, Niagara on the Lake.  It was a long way to travel to play two teams from their own league, but a great time was had by all.

After a tough battle with several talented teams, the Scotiabank Mitchell Bantam LL boys came out on top after their win in Teeswater on Saturday, March 7th against the South Bruce LL team.  This win put them in first place in the Maroon South division of the WOAA qualifying them for the WOAA Finals against the winner of the Maroon North division. 

​Friday, March 6, 2015 the Scotiabank Bantam LL team played game 5 of their round robin playoff series on their home ice against the Wingham Ironmen.  With just two games left and only one loss to date, they knew they still needed to play hard and get this win tonight. 

On Saturday, February 28th the Scotiabank Bantam LL team hosted the Ripley Wolves for their fifth playoff game. This team has been untouchable and tonight’s game was no different as they recorded Reid DEGROOT’S ninth shutout of the season and brought themselves that much closer to a clean sweep for this first round of playoff games.
