Peewee Reps Sail through Goderich
On Jan 27th the Hoegy's Farm Supply Peewee Rep. team led by Zac McPhee and Connor Weir, won their preliminary round of OMHA playoff's eliminating the Sailors.

Zac McPhee scored on the games opening play 6 seconds in, assisted by Evan Morrison & Kyle Richardson, the Sailors facing elimination contained the Meteors for the rest of the opening frame the period ended 1-0. Mitchell's second goal also by McPhee came 4 minutes into the second assisted by Mark Knill and Joey Hill, Meteors lead 2-0, 3 minutes later Kase Schoonderweord scored for Mitchell assisted by Connor MacLean and McPhee, Meteors lead 3-0. Peewees had a commanding lead and the finish line was in site. Connor Weir did an excellent job on penalty kill and scored the games final goal, a nice shot from an impossible angle that squeaked behind the Goderich tender. Peewees 4 Sailors 0. Mitchell moves on and will face Mount Forest in round 2.

On Feb 3rd the Peewees faced the Stratford Warriors Minor Peewee team in exhibition play for the 3rd time this season. The Warriors took the Meteors by surprise dominating play in the early minutes however Mitchell's Bradley Boville kept Stratford off the board. Mitchell's Karsen Eisler settled the Warriors down and opened the scoring at 6:03 , assisted by Zac McPhee and Sam Snyders. Stratford answered back with a goal of their own and the period ended a 1 all tie. In The second period the Meteors recovered their lead when Evan Morrison scored assisted by Joey Hill.   However the Warriors returned the goal and the period ended a 2 all tie. Stratford took the lead for the first time in the third but Meteor Zac McPhee responded with a bullet to make the game a 3 all tie. Eisler scored his second of the night assisted by David Rowland and Ben Small and that was enough for this game Mitchell wins 4-3.
