Peewee reps start OMHA playoff drive vs. Goderich Sailors
Mark Knill's hat trick and Bradley Bovilles shutout carried the Hoegy's Farm Supply Peewee's to victory in Goderich on Sunday. (Jan. 18th)

Both teams played a tight first period and the fans were treated to some great action at both ends however this game was scorless in the first period. Things finally started to heat up in the second period when Knill decided it was time to take control scoring 2 goals 1 minute apart, the first goal assisted by Evan Morrison and the 2nd assisted by Sam Snyders the Meteors were energized but so where the Sailors. Thankfully Goaltender Bradley Boville was up for the challenge stopping many great chances from the Goderich squad but the Meteors maintained their 2 goal lead into the 3rd. Early in the final period Evan Morrison broke free and scored a real nice unassisted backhand goal putting the Meteors up by 3. The Peewee's got into penalty problems in the 3rd frame but Mitchell's defense led by Boville kept Goderich off the board, finally with 6 minutes left in the game it was time for Knill to complete his hat trick this one was assisted by Connor McLean and Morrison,  Mitchell wins the series opener. Good luck on Tuesday boys...lets go Meteors!
