Eisler nets 2 goals, Peewees lose to Goderich Sailors
The Hoegy's Farm supply Peewee Reps hosted Goderich Tuesday night the Meteors hit the ice strong and looked good but the Sailors scored the first and only goal of the opening frame.
The second period started with another goal from Goderich but 4 minutes into the frame Karsen Eilser dangled and netted Mitchell's first goal assisted by Ben Small and Mark Knill. The Meteors were within a goal and still in the game however the Sailors pushed back and responded with 2 more second period goals sending the Meteors into intermission down by 3. Goderich lead into the 3rd determined to put the game away and scored their 4th goal however Eisler wasn't ready to quit and scored his second of the night assisted by Connor Weir and Kyle Richardson. Eisler's goals weren't enough and the Sailors took over scoring 2 more unanswered goals handing the Meteors a 7-2 loss.
