The Hoegy’s Farm Supply Peewee Rep Boys Host Walkerton.
Tuesday Oct. 21 the Peewee’s were back in WOAA action vs.
the Walkerton Capitals.
Both teams had chances, but the 1st period was scoreless. Walkerton scored first at 6:51 in the 2nd but Mitchell’s Connor Weir quickly responded 1 minute later with the Meteors first goal assisted by Sam Snyders. At 2:51 in the 2nd frame Ben Small scored assisted by Evan Morrison to put the Meteors up by a goal. Walkerton came back in the 3rd with 2 goals of their own and the Meteors found themselves behind by one. Meteor defence and goalie Bradley Boville stopped a fast Capital forward from scoring again and at 3:39 a determined Zac McPhee scored an unassisted goal to tie the game.
