McLaughlin's Chrysler Novice Rep Team Charges Through Pre-season Exhibition on Winning Journey
The McLaughlin’s Chrysler Mitchell Meteor Novice Rep team opened the season with strong team play and lots of early skill as they began their season together in exhibition play. The boys quickly meshed to start what promises to be an action packed and enjoyable season for the whole team.
The team began exhibition with two strong wins first against the Stratford Warriors Novice Tier 1 then a second commanding win over the Tavistock Titans Novice Rep team. The team again played well in their third exhibition game against the Twin Centre Stars Novice Rep’s but found the Stars to be just as hungry as they battled back from an early deficit to tie with Mitchell mid-way in the third. But the Meteors dug deep and netted one more power play goal to edge Twin Centre for the 5-4 win. The pre-season ended with one more visit each with Tavistock and Stratford. The McLaughlin’s Rep boys again were playing smart hockey making use of good passing and strong offensive and defensive decisions as they capped off the pre-season with a winning streak. The regular season starts next Tuesday October 14th with a home game against Listowel. Great work boys in the pre-season, we are all looking forward to your season ahead. Well done!
