Novice Rep, U8 Boys, 2014-2015 (Mitchell Minor Hockey)

The McLaughlin Novice Rep boys capped off an amazing season of hockey Saturday evening bringing home the WOAA Twolan division championship.

The McLaughlin Novice Rep boys ended a successful regular season off in second place, just one point back from the leader.  Advancing to playoff action in the WOAA Twolan division, the boys would start the first round off against Listowel Cyclones.

Our very own McLaughlin Novice Rep Meteors built off their hard work and successful play at the Kincardine Regional Silver Stick tournament to spend this past weekend competing for that elusive silver prize. Although the boys came up a little short in the finals against Mt. Brydges this afternoon their determination was never in question! The weekend was full of great spirit, comradery and teamwork, that despite the sad feelings and long faces after todays last game, are qualities that not every team can boast. Oooooo Doggie!!! The Novice Rep boys have blown past the quarter finals and perservered through the semi's to line up this afternoon against the Mt. Brydges Cougers for the Mite B division finals. The boys played a great game against Simcoe and battled to the end to take a 3-0 victory to advance to the semi's. With the silver gleem in their eyes this morning they took to the ice with Stittsville and again fought through three periods to hold a 6-3 victory for the win and punch their ticket to the finals at 2:30 against the Cougers.
