The McLaughlin Novice Rep boys ended a successful regular season off in second place, just one point back from the leader. Advancing to playoff action in the WOAA Twolan division, the boys would start the first round off against Listowel Cyclones.
In game 1 at home on Tuesday night the boys started things off strong with a 10-1 win. The boys took that momentum into Sunday afternoon, battling Listowel again in their home barn for a 9-0 shutout.
With two wins the boys take the best of three series to advance to the next round with teams yet to be determined.
