Bantam AE, U15 Boys, 2013-2014 (Mitchell Minor Hockey)

The Scotiabank Bantam AE's had a tough loss to end their season Wednesday night.  The boys played a well fought game but were defeated in the end.  I think I speak for both parents and players this has been an up and down season and has seen the boys progress throughout. 

The Scotiabank Bantam AE's left the crowd at the edge of their seats as they tied Drayton after overtime.  The boys played a great game defensively and Tanner Knechtel performed awesome in net.  Curtis Lockhart starting things off with a beautiful goal followed by Zeke Koert adding his beauty.  Stephen Bird blasted one from the blue line to tie the game and take them into overtime.  The boys played a hard fought 10 min overtime and left the game tied 3-3.  Good work boys!!

After a long streak the Scotiabank Bantam AE's are back!!! A great game played on Tuesday night by the boys was long overdue.  A strong defense allowed for the offense to shine.  A beautiful goal by Kurtis Eisler started the boys on a roll.  James Cooper chimed in later assisted by Tyler Smith and Curtis Lockhart.  Just 6 mins later Smith had luck with the same move.  Keeping the rythmn going was Zeke Koert with some help from Wyatt Cronin and Stephan Bird.  Riley Sykes added the finishing touch with an assist from Bird.  Let's keep it going boys!

It was a tough loss for the Scotiabank Bantam AE's after almost a month without a game. holding to a 1-0 score going into the second period, had Kurtis Eisler scoring on a beautiful rebound shot, assisted by Tyler Smith and Stephen Bird.  Unfortunately we couldn't keep the Sailors from scoring three more in the second.  Heading into the third an excellent blue line top shelf goal from Smith, and assisted by Jacob Laing,  wasn't enough to keep to the boys going. As we fell to the Sailors 5-2.  

The Scotiabank Bantam AE team recorded their second win in a row defeating St. Mary's.  Opening goal credited to Curtis Lockhart with a little help from the St. Mary's goaltender started off what was a penalty full game! The boys played a good physical game keeping the score keeper busy writing!  A pair of goals by Tyler Smith both assisted by Jacob Laing rounded out the win.  An awesome job in net by Tanner Knechtel kept the boys to a 3 1 win! Good Luck on three in row!!
