Tillsonburg tournament
Great Start for the Scoatiabank Bantam AE boys at the Bob Tansley tournament in Tillsonburg.
Our boys played Tavistock in the first game, looking forward to taking another win. The first two periods were strong scoring 4 minutes into the first period, an initial shot from James Cooper rebounded to Jacob Lange to set up Andrew Feltz for the goal.
Early in the second Tavistock scored to even it up, but Mitchell came back with a goal from Tyler Smith, assisted by Ben Hart and Zeke Koert.
The boys continued to play hard and stay positive through to the end of the game. Good goaltending by Tanner Knechtel and defence helped seal the win.
