Mitchell Bounces Back
The Meteors tied up the best of three series with a 5-3 win Thursday night in Chatsworth.
After the Meteors bounced back from a one goal deficit in the first Sam Skinner added to their lead with an assist from Evan Chaffe. Devon Schinbein added the insurance goal in the second with a clapper from the slot to give the reps a two goal lead heading into the third.
Unfortunately for Mitchell, Chatsworth came out strong in the third and evened the score near midway in the frame. Mitchell rallied back and after gaining the zone Trevor Skinner setup Cody Pauli, who ripped one past the net minder putting the Meteors back in front. With minutes to play Sam Skinner intercepted a Chatsworth rush and put one safely in the empty net to put them ahead comfortably. Scott Herbert played solid between the pipes.
With the series knotted at one game each, the series will switch to Mitchell in a do or die match for both sides.
