Strong Weekend for Mitchell
The Meteors dominated the weekend with two wins, to conclude their round robin play downs.

The Meteors started the weekend with a big 5-1 win over Seaforth. Cody Pauli opened the scoring with helpers from Kevin Rops and Trevor Skinner. Josh Taylor would pile on to their lead with a great unassisted marker. One minute later Seaforth would cut Mitchell’s lead in half with their only goal of the game. Mitchell would add two more in the second and one in the third.
On Sunday Mitchell battled with Blyth at home in a thriller. After falling 2 goals to none early in Mitchell rallied back in the first with two goals in rapid succession by Evan Chaffe and Trevor Skinner, assists by Pauli, Sam Skinner, and Devon Schinbein. Chaffe would add another late in the second, which was then countered by a Blythe goal tying the game at 3. Jacob Shuker and Joe McCarthy would add one each before the end of the second making it 5-3 going into the third. Early into the third Josh Taylor scored his second goal in as many games adding the insurance maker. Blythe would eventually add another but the Meteors took it 6-4.
The Meteors will play Chatsworth in their final series of the year.
