PeeWee LL, U13 Boys, 2013-2014 (Mitchell Minor Hockey)

The Lockhart Funeral Home PeeWee LL team faced the AEMHA Ice Dogs Red on home ice Sunday night for game 2 in the PeeWee LL Western Championships.  The Ice Dogs were hungry for the win and dug hard to keep the puck in Mitchell's end giving them a 2-1 lead at the end of the first period. The Meteors found their groove by the second period and played a strong offensive and defensive game winning the Western Ontario Championships with a score of  7-3.

Mitchell PeeWee LL's traveled to Tara on Wednesday March 19th to play game 1 in a best 2 out of 3 final playoff series against AEMHA.  The Meteors hit the ice hard and fast fighting for the puck and hungry for the win.  The whole team played an awesome game with each player covering their position and working together to keep control of the game. 

Mitchell Meteors PeeWee LL hit home ice against the Blyth-Brussels Crusaders Sunday night. Our guys were there for the win and worked hard to keep the puck in the oponents end.  Mitchell had numerous shots on net but the Crusaders goalie was on his game letting only 2 passed his gloves. Meteors scored their final goal on an empty net as the Crusaders attempted a power play in the last few minutes of the game.  Mitchell wins with a final score of 2-0 and heads now to the PW championship games. Great work guys. 

Mitchell PeeWee LL boys dominated the game on Saturday night as they faced the Minto Mad Dogs in Harriston.  Minto could not seem to keep the puck out of their end as Mitchell sent in 10 goals.  The LL's take another win with a final score of 10-1!   

Mitchell Meteors PeeWee LL faced off against the Drayton Defenders on home ice Tuesday night. The Defenders were here for the win and played a fast paced game. Mitchell had a number of great shots that the Defenders goalkeeper kept out of the net.
