PeeWee LL Have a Great Weekend
Mitchell Meteors PeeWee LL team played well this weekend putting two wins on the charts. Saturday afternoon they came to play when they squared off against Blyth-Brussels Crusaders. The first two periods the game was fairly evenly played with each team getting in one goal a piece.
Mitchell dominated the third period with our forwards keeping the puck in the opponents end and scoring another 3 goals. Brent S was solid in net with some quick blocker saves. Eric D had two goals and Tyler R and Anthony B with one goal each. Great game played by all with forwards knocking the puck from the Crusaders stick and our defense helping to support the goalie. Mitchell took the 4:1 win.
No rest for the PeeWee LL team as they faced Minto on Saturday night. Mitchell Meteors opened the game with a goal by Tyler R in the first period.The Minto goalie had a busy night with numerous shots on net with Mitchell's forwards keeping the pressure on throughout the game. Stevie D along with a strong defense allowed only two goals past our net. Damon K and Connor L both had two goals this game. Tyler R, Eric D, Anthony B and Jake W slid in one goal each. Mitchell takes the 8:2 win. Nice to see the hard work pay off guys.
