Mitchell dominates against Drayton
After a couple of disappointing losses in the last series against Wingham, Mitchell won on Friday night against Drayton in the first game of the round robin with a score of 4-1.
Brett Adair gave the team the early lead with help from Trevor Skinner and Devon Schinbein. Evan Chaffe scored in the second frame with Joe McCarthy picking up the assist. Mitchell added two more in the third period with goals by Schinbein and Jordan Mabb assisted by Jesse Kinsmen and Sam Skinner. Goaltending appeared to be the key as Mitchell out shot Drayton 34-10.
