Herbert earns shut-out
Despite being out shot, the Midget Rep team were victorious last Thursday night blanking Goderich 5-0 behind the shutout goaltending of Scott Herbert. Jesse Kinsmen netted two with assists by Loedwyk Koert, Josh Taylor and Joe McCarthy. Koert also set up Martin Van Bakel with a beautiful passing play from behind the net in the first period. McCarthy aided Devon Shinbein with a goal in the second and put one in himself in the third with help again from Koert and Taylor. Trevor Skinner and Owen Smith generated several offensive attacks and Ben Davey had a strong game defensively.
