Meteors, Once Again, Keep Ice Dogs From a Win!
After another tough, end to end game, Mitchell hangs on for their second tie against BCH of the season.
BCH were the first on the scoreboard after they managed to squeak one between the goalie, Charlie Woods, leg and the post on a scramble beside the net. This was the only goal Woody let through the pipes as he continually stood his ground to make save after save against some great BCH shooters! The Meteors tied up the game late in the second period on a goal by Nicholas Houben, assisted by Dawson Dietz and Connor MacLean. The third period was end to end with great goal tending by Woody and some great plays by Mitchell's defencemen continually shutting the door on the strong BCH forward line. We had some good chances to score but the game ended with both teams tied at 1 in a great effort by the boys. Way to go Mitchell!!!
