U15 REP Playdown and Season Wrap Up
The Scotia Bank U15 Rep Mitchell Meteors playdowns for the 2023 season did not go to plan, even though the Meteors were in every game with close scores they just didn't get the bounces to go there way.
The Meteors would lose 8 to 6 in Kincardine, 1 to 0 at home against Mid-Huron and 5 to 3 against Listowel who would go on to beat Saugeen Shore to win the division and advance to the OMHA tournament.
Next up for the Meteors were two exhibition games against the Woodstock Navy Vets coming out of a larger AA center. Mitchell would lose at home 6 to 2 but would go on to win in Woodstock 4 to 3.
The U15 Mitchell Meteors would like to thank Owen Chaffe, Randy VanBakel, Carson Eisler, and Jamie Klumper for the great season behind the bench. A special thank you to Owen and Carson for stepping up to assist in the development of the kids at the U15 level, even though you may have no kids in the system. Sharing your time, knowledge and laughs with these kids made this season incredible and it is everyone's hope to see you both back next season and possibly even encourage others to get involved.
