U15 REP Playdowns Game 6 vrs Huskies
Friday, February 24, 2023 the Scotia Bank Mitchell Meteors traveled to Clinton to play the Mid-Huron Huskies in the U15 Rep Cruickshank division playdowns. In regular season action these teams would split the the wins 1 and 1.
Carter Miller would have the call in net and play a strong game to hold the Meteors in this one. The first period would see Mitchell called for two(2) penalties in which the Huskies would capitalize on both at 7:32 and 2:42.
The second period would see Mitchell get a power play in which Griffin Bree (Asst., Charlie Wolfe) would bring the Meteors within one.
The third period would see the Meteors and Huskies play some exciting end to end hockey until mid-way through when the Huskies would add two more goals at 8:25 and 4:57 to build a 4 to 1 lead. Mitchell would find the net with 49 seconds remaining Logan Verberne (Asst., Charlie Wolfe, Tyler Burtenshaw)
Mitchell will welcome the Saugueen Shore Storm to Mitchell February 28, 2023 at 7:50pm. The Storm currently lead the playdowns with 12 points
