Game 4 BCH series
The Terry's Auto Service Midget AE's

travelled to Clinton on Monday evening to play game #4 of the OMHA playoff series against the BCH Icedogs. There is no doubt the boys certainly seem to love the game of hockey as they decided to prolong this series another game.

After an entertaining game three in Mitchell on Sunday evening where Mitchell earned another two points, no one was really sure what to expect at game four! It certainly was great to see all the players and for insurance, the coaching staff added a few extras for those "just in case situations".

The first period was scoreless but once again the penally board lights certainly got a work out. After the first period the refereeing seemed to be better than our last meeting in the BCH barn, but this perception would be short lived as some head scratching calls were made as the game progressed against the visitors.

Mitchell once again were first to strike when Devin Fenwick went end to end on a power play to send the black vulcanized 6 oz piece of black rubber into the Icedog's goal @ 11:42 of the second. As stripes continued to influence the game, Mitchell's defence and goalie held strong and the period would end with just the one goal.

As the penalties continued, the dogs finally capitalized on one of their power plays to tied game 4 in the third, and later on another power play, the winner came and this would seal the results of game 4 of this OMHA series in history at 2-1 for the BCH Icedogs.

Game five is in Mitchell this Friday evening at 9:15. Hopefully the boys decide to win this game and end this rivalry instead of tying it to play yet another day. It promises to be a good game folks, come out and support the boys.
