Game 2 BCH series
The Terry's Auto Service Mitchell Midget AE’s hosted their league rivals,

the BCH Icedogs, on Friday evening for game two of the OMHA playoffs where the home team was out played, out shot and out scored. Where did our team that won the Ridgetown Groundhog tournament with such conviction go?  We want them back!!

This game was different in many aspects when compared to last Friday’s OMHA playoff game opener held in Clinton with the final outcome being the main difference. The other major difference would be the refereeing, no complaining here and perhaps some of the best of the season. Although some missed calls for both sides, it certainly was better than the copious amounts of one sided penalties witnessed in last week's game, however what did not change was the boys lacklustre urgency to play the game of hockey.

The scoring for game two of the OMHA playoff between the Meteors and Icedogs started early in the first for the home crowd favourites when Evan Morrison buried the puck past our nemesis goaltender with the help from Jake Monden and Devin Fenwick, giving Mitchell an early lead in the game… but it would be short lived. Thirty-one seconds later, BCH returned the gesture and tied the score at 1-1.

Even when the adversaries were short handed, Mitchell was still unable to provide enough offence to score and at the buzzer the Icedog's persistence and play were the game changers this time, capitalizing twice more and ending the game winning 3-1.

Really nothing positive about Mitchell’s game.  Hoping lessons were learned and the boys get their heads out of their___ and we see a different team play this Sunday evening in Mitchell at 9 pm. The series is tied at 2 points a piece.
