"A" Finalists in Seaforth Tournament
The Dodge Caravan Kids Novice LL 1 team had a busy weekend competing in the Seaforth Tournament. They played 4 great games and brought home a medal as the "A" runner-ups.
Game #1 was played on Friday night with a 12-0 win over South Bruce. An early morning game on Saturday resulted in a win for the Dodge Caravan Kids Novice LL 1 team, defeating Lambeth 9-4. Game #3 against Listowel White ended in a 10-1 win and meant that these boys were headed to the "A" finals where they would meet again with Lambeth. This "A" final game had the fans on the edge of their seats the whole game as both teams wanted the win! In the end, Lambeth came out on top by 1 goal with a score of 4-3.
All of these boys played hard both offensively and defensively, which along with exceptional goaltending and great coaching, was a memorable tournament.
The Dodge Caravan Kids Novice LL 1 team gets a break this weekend, then plays Seaforth on December 20th.
