Cyclones Even Series With 4-3 Overtime Win
Listowel came back from a two goal deficit in the third period to edge Mitchell.
The visitors scored early to jump out to a 1-0 lead infront of a large home crowd. The Meteors responded half a minute later when Cam Dietz fired in a shot from the point assisted by Ray Wolfe. Mitchell steered many pucks towards the net in the second but couldn't get the puck past a tough Listowel goalie. The score remained 1-1 after two. The game opened up in the third with Mitchell scoring a couple of goals from Wolfe. The Cyclones took advantage of two powerplays late in the third and sent the game into overtime. The game ended less than a minute into the frame with an odd man rush and a goal to end the game as Listowel went home with a 4-3 win. Carson Lubbers had two assists with Cole Templeman and Owen Jarmuth getting singles in the loss.
