Novie Reps couldn't hold on
On Saturday afternoon the McLaughlins Auto Wholesailing Novice Reps took on Kincardine in play-off action.

Mitchell came out on fire battling hard in the offensive zone with lots of shots and great heads up plays.  Bryson Eickmeyer made some great saves in net, backing his team to end the first period scoreless.

The pressure still on for the boys heading into a scoreless second period, Cam Dietz opens the scoring for Mitchell with Ray Wolfe drawing the assist.
Mitchell holding their own and giving their fans quite the exciting nail-bitting game, would put Mitchell ahead by two.  Owen Jarmuth sneaks a beauty shot by Kincardines goalie with Logan Montgomery assisting.  With seconds left Kincardine fired one back, ending the second period 2-1 Mitchell.

In third period play, Mitchell not giving up and giving it their all, would get another one on the scoreboard.  Carson Lubbers puts it away, assisted by Tyler Burtenshaw and Ray Wolfe.
Not long after Kincardine would get a couple fast ones by Mitchell's goalie tying the game with 10 minutes left in the third.

Mitchell trying to push their way to a victory, just couldn't do it.  Kincardine would go on to win the game 5-3.

Mitchell travels to Kincardine tomorrow (Sunday) for a 12pm game.  Wish the boys luck!
