The Scotiabank Bantam LL team started their winning streak over again this afternoon in Listowel.
According to the game sheet and some reliable sources, Listowel took an early lead in the first period, but Carter YOST and Kole HUNT both scored shortly thereafter to take over that lead and finish the first period 2 to 1. The assists went to Will STEINBACH and Brent SMITH for the first goal and YOST and Curtis DEJONG for the second goal.
The 2nd period appeared to be pretty uneventful as there were no goals or penalties by either team.
In the 3rd period HUNT scored again with the assist going to Denzyl FINLAYSON and DEJONG. Listowel answered back 27 seconds later but to no avail as Wade MONDEN recorded the 4th and final goal of the game resulting in a 4 to 2 win for Mitchell. That last goal was assisted by Joey HILL and YOST.
