The McLaughlin Auto Wholesaling Novice Reps travelled to Goderich on a snowy Feb 13th, making the trip worthwhile by shutting out their hosts 9-0.
Mitchell took a tripping penalty less than a minute into the game, but responded with back-to-back shorthanded goals by Dominic Marshall unassisted on a beautiful deke, and Ryan Hubbard from Jack Miller. Marshall would add a similar goal in the third period with another coast-to-coast rush, and Hubbard would add a second goal as well.
Two goals each were also scored by Jordan Visneskie and Zach Houben. Jack Miller would round out the scoring, making no mistake on a perfect pass from Houben right on his stick all alone in the slot. Assists were recorded by Miller, Hubbard, and Houben with a pair. Goalie Jack Bree turned aside all shots, including a huge save on a Goderich breakaway in the third period to preserve the shutout.
